Vinyl : Instalation

To ask a vinyl floor, carefully lift the greater width and greater length of your room, in meters and centimeters. At these dimensions, you should add 10 cm in all directions in order to properly adjust your vinyl flooring as many walls are not straight. Depending on circumstances, our vinyl is sold in widths 2, 3, 4 or 5 meters. If the width of your room is smaller than the width of the vinyl: a single band will do, laying the vinyl floor is facilitated.
If your part requires several bands of vinyl, calculate your needs by directing perpendicular to the light fittings or in less visible areas.Be careful to ask all the bands in the same direction to avoid reflections of the differences from one band to another. If your vinyl has reasons to connect, allow an additional ground in each direction.
Prepare your soil
The surface on which you place your vinyl floor must be completely dry and flat. If necessary, trim your soil with a layer of leveling compound before laying the vinyl floor.
Ask your vinyl floor
The installation of your vinyl floor is an important step because the end result of your soil depends on the result of the quality of the installation.
In general, for many be a vinyl floor, better stick it right in to prevent it from moving or not to relax. In rooms with moderate way, the double-sided adhesive may suffice.
By following a few steps below, the installation of your vinyl floor will be no problem:
Clean your floor and if possible, remove the baseboard so that the vinyl can be spread to the walls.
Roll your vinyl floor and adjust it by making up a few inches on each wall.
Wrap your new vinyl to the center of the room and cover the floor with glue using a spatula. Be sure to use the adhesive recommended with each vinyl.
Once the glue is applied, pull down your vinyl and rub well from the center to the walls.
Do the same for the other half of the room.
When the glue is made, cut the excess vinyl with a cutter.
You just have to put the baseboards and lay the rod threshold.
Properly maintain your vinyl
Nothing is easier than maintaining a vinyl! To clean the vinyl floor in everyday life, a broom, vacuum cleaner or damp cloth is sufficient.
After asking your vinyl floor, we recommend cleaning with soapy water then rinse.
For more effective cleaning, use the mop and warm water and a mild detergent. Never apply wax solvent, or ammonia or solvents. Also avoid steam cleaner on vinyl floors.
Oil stains, grease, lemon, vinegar should be treated promptly because these could cause discoloration or assaulting the surface of your soil.
Never place objects rubber (floor mats, tires) on soils Vinyl: Brown signs may appear after a chemical reaction.
Finally you will avoid fingerprints by sticking felt pads under the feet of chairs, tables and other furniture.
