How to Install Wallpaper

The wallpaper is a decorative material for the walls which is quite easy to install yourself, just how to proceed. Before the installation of wallpaper, you must make a plan to facilitate the work.
The majority of wallpapers are pre-pasted and vinyl. Simply use a tray to soak the wallpaper roll upholstery and activate the adhesive on the back of it.
Walls should be clean and smooth. So you need to repair the holes and clean the wall surface. Remove switch plates and electrical outlets, by putting the screws on them to avoid losing them.
The renovations are often more difficult because it is common for walls, doors, and others have changed over time. Moreover, as it is possible that a wall is inclined, like a cathedral ceiling, for example, you must draw a line starting at the well. It is also important to minimize the cuts strips of tapestry, which is more work, and can produce more material loss.
The party has the most open or cutting is often one where you should start by calculating the laying tape the widest possible. For example, if the section between a window and a door 22 inches and the band are 18, it may be best to start half way and have two strips of 11 inches. The C-shaped band of 11 inches is less sensitive than that would have only 4.
Once you have decided where to begin, draw a straight line with a level. This line of departure when the tapestry does not make sense for the installation. If it must always be stuck in the same direction, measure the number of bands complete before starting the corner. Then, transfer your starting line to mark the start of the first full edge. You get the bandwidth you need to start cutting.
To cut the wallpaper, you need a sharp knife and scissors. Easy to cut the edge of a door frame, you smooth the wallpaper into the corner. Then, with a metal spatula, you press in the corner to hold the wallpaper in place while you trim the excess along the spatula with your knife. Once the cut side, you use the scissors to cut the wallpaper about midway of the molding at the top of the door. This allows you to place, smooth and cut above the door as if to the side.
Once a strip of wallpaper is stuck, straighten it well to release air bubbles and excess glue. Remove as much glue on the surface; it’s easier than when dry.
You must install the wallpaper straight, because the motive is often to highlight the defects. It is always best to ask two of the tapestry, which lays the strips more quickly and accurately. Just to properly calculate the starting position, to take time off for good equipment, and smooth to remove bubbles. It is a work of decoration that requires a little more DIY scamper, but not really difficult. Good luck.
